Event & rally legs
Create and manage rally days, route sections, meeting points, controls, times and breaks.
THE PLATFORM IN DETAIL
Girostoria connects the organiser’s work with the information each crew needs. This page describes the planned scope of the first usable product version.
01 / BEFORE THE START
One structured place for your event, crews and programme.
Organizer Studio gives the organising team a shared foundation. Rather than distributing crew lists, schedules and documents only as separate files, published information is brought together for each event.
Create and manage rally days, route sections, meeting points, controls, times and breaks.
Record drivers, co-drivers, start numbers and car details; import existing participant lists via CSV.
Prepare the schedule and publish it for crews. Published changes appear in the updated programme.
Keep event documents and driver-related paperwork in the right place and track their status.
02 / ON RALLY DAY
Publish changes in a controlled way and keep an overview on the move.
A rally day keeps moving. When times or meeting points change, Girostoria helps organisers and participants see the current version of the programme.
Change a start time in Organizer Studio; once published, it is updated in the affected participant views.
Publish important announcements within the event, such as revised meeting points or driver briefings.
Access the programme, crews and current information on the organising team’s smartphones too.
Assign GPX files and existing roadbook PDFs to the event or a rally leg and distribute them to crews.
03 / IN THE CAR
A personal overview for drivers and co-drivers.
Each crew finds its relevant event information in one place. The mobile area shows the current times and information without participants having to search through different message threads and PDF attachments.
Driver, co-driver, start number, car and required documents for the event.
Start, briefing, controls, breaks and finish in rally-day order.
Open published route information and the roadbook files provided by the organiser.
Find organisational announcements and published event changes.
Show crews the organiser’s results once they have been published. Timing itself is handled by a separate system.
PRODUCT SCOPE
Connected core workflows for organisers and crews:
This version of Girostoria does not replace professional precision timing, automatic live tracking or a specialist roadbook editor. Results are imported from the organiser’s data; built-in timing is outside the scope.
The screens shown are product previews. The interactive demo uses sample data and simulated publishing; it is not yet a production rally system. The first real event will take place only after the agreed features have been completed and tested.
NEXT STEP
One event price, a clear scope and free access for crews.
